2.7 miles hiked

Today we get back to the PCT!
Finally, as I was getting a little restless at VVR. Though, I am exhausted today for some reason so we decided to take the 4:30pm ferry and just hike to get back to the PCT trail.

Woodstock and I ate breakfast with Laura and Matt before they headed back on trail for the 8:45am ferry.
I got a massage at 9:30 am to help my sore muscles and my calve pain.
Flame and Riptide came in today so that was cool seeing them again and catching up!
We ate lunch with them around 1pm and then they napped while I packed up my gear into my bag again.  I then chatted with some other hikers and finished up social media until 3:30.

We got our ride to the ferry and us and two other hikers got the first ferry ride.
It was so nice being on a boat again and feeling the water and wind in my face. Makes me think of home with my mom and step-dad’s lake house and boating as a kid with them.

We hiked the 2.7 miles (begrudgingly because we were so tired today) and then got to camp, quickly set up our tents and went to soak our feet in the creek and get water.
Then we ate food while watching the last of our movie together (Ice Age) and at hiker midnight retired to our tents.

Simple day. Tomorrow will be hard, but rewarding. It’s a pass day :)
