Day 80
12 miles hiked

Time to get back to the PCT! We got trail on via Piute Creek pass. But I started to feel some extreme foot pain within the first 3 hours of hiking. What the fuck is happening? A nurse passed and I asked her if she could help and she thinks I have plantar fasciitis. I freaking hope not. Because that is 3-12 months of healing and that would suck a lot.
So I decided to end the day early and instead of doing the planned 16.5 miles, I stopped at 12 miles by a creek. Woodstock kept going and we split up to meet again at VVR in a couple days time.
I was happy to have some alone time too. I soaked my foot in the creek for an hour. I then watched a show and ate some Mac and cheese and hot chocolate and enjoyed my alone time :)

The mosquitoes today were insane btw. Probably the worse while hiking so far.
I hope tomorrow isn’t too terrible.
