Zero day

I woke up at 8am today and showered and got ready so I could look okay for the instagram takeover. Hiker trash but clean hiker trash.
Gosh I’m a nervous anxious wreck.
The live Q and A is today at 1 and I’m pretty worried I’m gonna blow it. #anxiety
But! It’s only around 9 right now , and I did my first post so now I can go get some food for my tramily coming today. Cake, balloons, breakfast for tomorrow etc.

One the instagram takeover I’ve been answering people’s questions throughout the day which is cool.
After the first grocery store I got a hitch to the air bnb and then to the next grocery store.
Once I had all the food from the last store I got another hitch with two girls named Morgan and Anna. They helped me bring my groceries up and then they stayed and ate lunch with me and asked me tons of questions about my pct journey. They are such cool gals.
Next on the to do list of the day was the interview. To my surprise it went pretty well!
The girls left after that and then Rae came over and we hung out for an hour as well. (Rae is one of the section hikers Charlotte and I met all the way back at deep creek hot springs! It was pretty great to see her again so randomly!)
The first of my tramily to arrive was something else and kernel. I threw the balloons up in the air and played thunderstruck and handed them both Gatorades.
Then we waited for about 2 hours before pocket lizard and miss pancakes showed up. During that time we watched bill burr and they did their laundry.
Once they showed up we did the same welcome but with kernel and something else joining in.
They immediately showered when they arrived (thank god for that) haha
Then another hour or so the final three arrived. Same welcome haha

After everyone had showered we got our champagne and did our thunderstruck song that we have been waiting to do since Lone Pine hahaha.

Then we made our frozen pizzas and got some drinks and played some games and did some karaoke.

Around 1am we went to bed and I slept like a rock.
