Double zero in Lone Pine

Day 62

We slept in till around 8am today which was magical.
Today, we needed to decide about where to go next for accommodations. 2 of us wanted hotel, the other two, camping. I convinced all of a hotel because I found a cheaper room then the one we stayed in last night.
So we did some chores like breakfast and starting laundry at the laundromat before checking out.
When we got back to the hotel we got our stuff all quickly packed up and took it down to the hotel for them to place into storage for us while we wait for the next room to be cleaned.

In that timeframe we went to the gear store to change out some gear for the Sierra and then checked into the hotel.

We all just spread out and watched what was on tv for a few hours, ate Macdonalds because we are still all hungover from the night before, finished our laundry just before it closed at 9pm, and then invited Coronel over for games and pizza. (He brought the pizza)

We played “heads up” for a good 2 hours and in that time someone almost peed their pants from laughing while someone almost choked. I’ll leave that a mystery for those who don’t know the story.
Then we went into the hot tub which ended up being a little underwhelming and a slightly warm tub, so we left and went to sleep around 10-11pm.

Day 63

Today we woke up and made the decision to stay another day because a storm was predicted to hit the mountain today and tomorrow and we weren’t about to go walking into a storm willingly.
So we packed up our hotel room and met up with our drinking friends from two days before who also decided to stay another night, and went to this free camping place on someone's land called Hidden Valley Ranch.
What a freaking cool place.
A hidden cave oasis, a greenhouse kitchen, a solar shower, etc
Chicken Joe and Pocket Lizard made the tramily a wonderful spaghetti dinner and then we popped open the vodka and played some more “heads up” until dark.
We decided to cowboy camp like sardines up by the cave oasis for the night so we trekked our gear up there and set up our beds.

We played crazy 8’s and bull shit a bit before bed and joked around a lot.
I went pee with the kernel and I sat down on a stick… it went where the sun don’t shine. So ouch. ... At least buy me dinner first.

We all giggled about that and then joked around a bit more and then went to sleep :)
