6 ish miles hiked

Woke up and got ready to leave at 7am to Belden.
Once I arrived around 8 I set up my tent to nap a bit and wait for my friend to show up around 10-11 ish.
After they arrived Dreamcatcher and I caught up a bit and then we all chatted and waited for the kitchen to open up at 12:30pm. We then ate some lunch and around 2pm got ready to start hiking.

Flow and Charlotte started about 30 minutes before me because I had to pack up my tent and then I got some trail magic so I couldn't turn that down.

When I say this was the hardest day in about a month for me I mean it. I had to stop every 5-10 minutes. At one point it was so hot for me that I couldn't walk anymore because of that heat. There also wasn't any shade so I rested for an hour in direct heat waiting for it to cool down. (Which it really didn't)

The plan was to hike 11.4 miles today, I only made it about 6 before I had to call it quits for the day and set up camp early. I messaged my friend's garmin to let her know and I set up camp solo tonight. No one else camped near me so I had a relaxing evening after that gruelling climb and went to bed early. I knew that tomorrow I'd have to hike longer and faster to catch up to my friends now.
I found a blue bird or woodpecker feather at camp, packed it out because apparently feather's are good luck!
